I usually do it by just recognising the sound of the chords. However, an easy way to go back to D is quite simple. Play the 2nd fret of the E string (tuned to C), which will play a D. Just tune up until it makes that sound without touching the frets.

There really is no reason you can't. EADG is the standard tuning for a mandolin, and you can get ukulele strings for those notes. It isn't going to sound like a mandolin, but it can be played the same way.

B Standard , the song is in b minor key But u can also play it in E standard tuning , the key will change into e minor
