∙ 11y agothey are made the same except fiddles usually don't have chin rests and the players don't use shoulder rests. fiddles are for country or Irish, where they hold the fiddle in their hand as the play instead of with their chin and shoulder. but otherwise, they're the same exact notes and everything...
