Im adding some background to my question. I went to DMV today to get a copy of my driving record bcuz a service I was applying for said that I had 2 or more violations on my driving record and to the best of my knowledge, I had only one. Turns out that someone driving my car (me, my wife or some1 else) ran a red light. I moved to a new location in Dec and went to DMV to get my registration renewed with the new address. But, DMV still had my very old address (this address was my first address. I have moved twice after that. I have changed my address online for sure, but DMV did not update it.) So, now I am looking at almost $800 in fines. I managed to find my citation number and logged into the website which shows the videos. They wont show me the video since its more than 120 days old. I need to get out of this mess. I heard that hiring an attorney would be one of options. Can anyone suggest how to find a good one?
