How can I tryout for American Idol?

At the moment you cannot, but if you are reading this post in December 2012, the announcer will say on the live shows that the audition forms are now available, usually near the end of the current series. Then you can go online and fill out the audition form, the auditions will start in March of the next year, so you have from December 2012 to March 2013 to apply.

After that you will get to audition at one of about 5 venues, these are first stage auditions and not before the tv cameras that part comes later if you make it through the first stage auditions.

If you do audition, the most important thing I have read that people say to do is try and be unique and slightly different just not too different, this way you will stand out more than the average auditionee.

Nut sure but it could cost you millions! Now there's an online, free substitute called Online Idol. All you need is a video camera, voice, and a computer/laptop. You don't get to go to Hollywood and there's no reward, but it's worth a shot. Just go to www.onlineidol.synthasite.com

you can apply for the x factor 2010 by going to www.xfactor.com and then after just simply clicking onto apply. and its that easy!!!!!!
