The owners and managers of any radio station have exactly one reason for
anything they decide to put on the air: Get a huge number of listeners, so
that they can sell a large number of commercials, to advertisers who are
willing to pay high prices to put their commercials on that station, and make
a lot of money.
The method they use to keep large audiences and sell them to large numbers of
rich advertisers is: Air programs that a lot of people listen to and feel good, and
dump programs that make listeners feel unhappy and that few people listen to.
If there is any way to get a canceled radio show back on the air, it's going to be
something like this: You, and a thousand of your friends, have to each take a
pen, a piece of paper, an envelope, and a postage stamp, write a letter, send it
to one of the companies that used to advertise on that show, and then send a
copy of the letter to the radio station. The letter has to say that you used to
like to listen to that station but you don't any more, because they ticked you
off when they canceled the show that you liked to listen to, and now you're
looking around, trying all the other radio stations in town, and you're going to
find one or two other stations to listen to instead, but you'll check back with them
once a week or so, for a few minutes, to see whether they bring the show back.
That's the only thing that will work, if anything does.
