The violin is part of a family of string instruments that all have the same basic structure but vary in size- this family is made up of the violin, the viola, the cello and the double bass. Most similar to the violin is the viola- they look very similar and it may sometimes even be difficult to tell a small viola and a large violin apart (until you play them). The main differences between them are that the viola is larger than the violin, and that its pitch is lower.
The piccolo, which is a small version of the flute. Some might say the piccolo since it is quite small. However, there are so many percussion instruments that it is hard to tell which might be the smallest. I would think that castanets might be considered the smallest instrument in the orchestra. They are typically about the size of the palm of your hand.
Look at fingers. If its 1 finger on the strings for cello, same for violin. If you are doing anything for cello with 3 fingers, it's 2 for violin. If it's 4 for cello, it's 3 for violin. Here is cello notes with fingers-A STRING-0 fingers on A string (open A) = A1 finger on A string = B3 fingers on A string = #C4 fingers on A string = DD STRING0 fingers on D string (open D) = D1 finger on D string = E3 fingers on D string = #F4 fingers on D string = GG STRING0 fingers on G string (open G) = G1 finger on D string = A3 fingers on D string = #B4 fingers on D string = CC STRING0 fingers on C string (open C) = C1 finger on D string = D3 fingers on D string = #E4 fingers on D string = FRULES FOR CONVERTINGWhen there is 3 on a cello, it's 2 for a violinWhen there is 4 on a cello, it's 3 for violinThere isn't a note on the cello with 2 fingers-it just sound terrable.

The purpose of a violin fingering chart is to tell you exactly were your fingers go. This well tell you to be in a different string for different notes. This is also easy to read and is a quicker to learn the notes.

Their are 7 letters used for notes.A-G. The thickest string is the g string.Placing 1 finger down would be an A note. 2 would be B .3 would be C . Then move on to the next string and so on
Not really none are really easier than others, string instruments are harder to play than other families because they require a good ear which is useful for instance so you can tell if a note is the right pitch, to sharp, or to flat. you will find with any string instrument that the fattest string will be the hardest string to get a good sound from which is why there are different bows for each instrument. My violin teacher recently advised me to switch to viola because i have really big hands (and I'm proud of it, etc). So maybe if you have small hands (short fingers) you should play a smaller instrument and if you have large hands (long fingers) you should play a larger instrument. You mean could they tell if someone was playing bass or violin? Yes.
Bog off, I thought you were going to tell me how to play it on the violin. bye bye
...needs a friend to tell jokes to...a besoin d'un(e) ami(e) avec qui se marrerYou could change around the translation in different ways, for example by changing a besoin de to just cherche, or changing se marrer to s'amuser or partager des blagues.
