she signed a deal with Columbia records and quit Columbia University cuz she couldn't keep up with school and she was really talented. so, she chose music. they realized how good she was-Clive Davis, a famous music produced, realized that this girl was full of talent...she was really experienced in playing the piano, her voice was full of soul emotion and she wrote alot of her songs herself. Her first single in her album, "Fallin "became HUGE. she was also said to be extremely beautiful. so she had it all. REAL talent..her music was real.
