How did Elvis Presley dance and dress?

Elvis his best known for wearing flashy clothes and diamond rings when the term " bling bling " didn't even excist. In the 50's Elvis wore the famous gold lame suit (50.000.000 Elvis fans can't be wrong album) and Elvis also had then a caddillac with gold plated interior. Later in the 70's Elvis was also known for his wearing of jumpsuits and big belts. Infact Elvis wearing jumpsuits was a emergency move because he frequently ripped out of his pants while on stage at certain stage moves.

Fairly simple in the early years when he did his movies, in 68 he tried to get across more of a bad boy image with leather pants and a leather jacket, in later years he started getting into more and more elaborate jumpsuits, some of which even had capes. He was a big fan of Superman and even tried to copy the hairstyle from comics with the locks on top.

Elvis Presley preferred stage outfits were (look-alike) garishly ornate jumpsuit-pantsuit, often white with golden, sparkling embroidery and appliques. The suit was long-sleeved with flowing excess material that would form a small "wing" from his wrists when he raised his arms. The neckline had a standing collar around the back. The front had a wide slit from collar to nearly his waist where a wide sash encircled his midsection. From the waist, the leg material flared into wide bell bottoms. He wore men's white dress shoes. A white long scarf hung around his neck (along with hand towels) to wipe the sweat from his face and brow.

His band members wore plainer versions of the white pantsuit with bell-bottom pants.

By mid-life, ill, overweight and possibly on steroids for a medical condition (which increase weight and the face's roundness), he appeared mostly in these jumpsuits, whereas in younger life he typically wore an open collar dress shirt and slacks or jeans.

Note: Charlie Hodge "was the guy who sang back up, played guitar, handed Elvis water and gave him scarves on stage during the shows in the 1970's. Also, Charlie had a big influence on the song lists of the seventies shows. He used to suggest song titles to Elvis."

Just a week later, Elvis was more evidently out of shape. He had difficulty reaching high notes and often "covered" his mouth/upper body from view when unable to hold notes fully. He appears to be under more physical strain (possibly from a heart ailment?) and sweats profusely during each song.
