They individually auditioned on the X factor but Simon Cowell decided they were all talented and he formed them as a group and they sang at judges house and they got excepted and now they are the best band in the whole world!<3 :)

Hayley Williams moved from her hometown in Mississippi to Franklin Tennesee and in a way to make friends, she joined a funk cover band where she met bassist Jeremy Davis. She met Josh and Zac Farro at school and they were starting a band and needed a singer and asked Hayley to join. Shortly after they needed a bassist, and Hayley told them about Jeremy. Jason Bynum joined ans the rhythm guitar, but later left the band.
