"Mr . Haney" ( Emmett Maxwell "Pat" Buttram ) provided the voice for a number of characters in many films such as Napoleon in The Aristocats , Robin Hood , The Rescuers , Chief in The Fox and Hound , a bullet in Who Framed Roger rabbit , Cactus in Garfield and Friends . (I'm sure there were others.)He was also the sidekick of Gene Autry but probably he is best remembered from his role as Mr . Haney in Green Acres . A great and memorable character !
