she was shot in a major artery in the back by yolanda saldivar and died because of blood lost, yes they did try to give her a blood transfusion but her heart would not accept it so she died march 31,1995 at the age of 23 because of blood lose due to a gun wound in the back the reason she lost so much blood was because every time her heart pumped blood would come out of the artery and she ran a lot to find help.
