Great story; Keith Moon joked that they would go down like a lead zeppelin because they were so heavy, and then Peter Grant persuaded them to change it to 'led' because he thought that many people (he said Americans, but I can imagine a lot of other people would to) would pronounce it 'leed zeppelin.'
