CD's were just becoming popular and the tapes were going out of style. we listened to a lot of CD's and some people had walkmans that were portable CD players. nothing at all like the iPod's of today. that was a time before burning music came about, also. so, you would actually have to go out and buy the full CD if you wanted to hear a song.
