R5 grew up in Littleton, CO. In 2008 I think.. they moved to Angeles, CA. And they played gigs wherever they could. They said that at first some of them were not into it like Rydel. But they met Ratliff aka Ellington there in a dance studio. They then formed a band and like I said played gigs wherever they could. Ross got the role of Austin Moon in Disney Channels hit show Austin and Ally. And riker got the role of Jeff the warbler on glee. Then I think a couple of years later R5 got signed with Hollywood Records and thats how they got famous.
