Enter in the radio code that should be in your owners manual. Use the pre-set radio buttons 1,2,3,4 to enter in the code and then hold the right seek button > for two seconds until you here a beep. The radio display should read 88.8 or soemthing like that. If you can't find the code go to the VW dealer and bring your ownership papers with your car serial number...
