∙ 14y agoIt really depends how hard you hit it or where you hit it. For example, toward the edge the sound is a little bit higher. It also depends on the type of drum.

When we hit a drum hardly its amplitude increases. On the other hand if we hit a drum softly its amplitude decreases.
