start by removing the mesh over the speaker carefuly so not to damage it, use a flat headed screw driver and gently pry it off. then remove the screws holding in the speaker. your good to go then.
Remove the rear speaker cover from your 1999 Mercury Cougar speaker. Remove the rear speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speaker. Reverse the process to install the new speaker.
