How do you break up with a man that loves you and that you love very dearly but that you don't want to be with anymore because you just want to be on your own for a while?

Communication is everything in a relationship and if you love each other and explain yourself to him he will be hurt, but will hopefully understand. I believe that everyone has to take time out to know who they are, where they want to go in life and then they are more secure, independent and have basically sown their wild oats. Once married that's pretty hard to do. Just be honest with him, but you do take the risk of losing him. The only other thing I can suggest is you go away on a holiday with another girlfriend or even alone and tell him you need time out as you have some things to straighten out in your life. This way you are splitting up with him and you'll have time to reflect on your life as to what your needs are and you might just surprise yourself and realize how much to do love this man.
