The plastic farring between the hood and the windshield has four t20 or t15 screws. Remove a few or all of them and pull the weather strip off from under the hood that helps hold on the farring. The farring should lift up pretty easily at this point and give you access to the sprayers and the hose. When you're done, you can just press the plastic screws back into place, don't bother trying to screw them in.
I know where the two fuse boxes are, but no where in the owners manual does it give information as to which fuse is the one that controls the windshield washer pump. Does anyone know by number, what fuse # controls the windshield washer pump?
That is lo wash. Windshield washer fluid is low.
It is the same reservoir as the front, under the hood.
i would have to say to take it to a shop they can fix it for you spend the money its not a part to mess with
Check the little rubber hoses under the hood that lead to the washers and then check the washer fluid container for fluid. Likely you have either a vacumn problem or a cracked hose that goes from the washer tank to the sprayer. Do some basic trouble shooting and if that doesnt solve your problem then get back with another question. Some things, such as this, are so basic that if you can't figure em out yourself you should take the vehicle to the repair shop and let an expert take care of it for you.
Windshield washer spray nozzles, or just simply nozzles.
Windshield washer nozzles normally don't need replacing, If they are clogged, run a real fine wire through the opening to unclog them.
They might be plugged with dirt, etc..
On most vehicles, the same washer fluid reservour feeds the front and rear windshield nozzles - the one in the engine compartment.
either the washer motor has burned out or there is dirt in the washer lines plugging up the washer nozzles.
To get water for the windshield, you typically need to press the windshield washer control, which is usually a lever or button located on the steering wheel or the turn signal stalk. This action activates the windshield washer pump, sending washer fluid through the nozzles onto the windshield. Make sure the washer fluid reservoir is filled for it to work effectively.
it is generally on the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir
The washer pump is on the bottom of the washer reservoir.
The nozzles pop in and out easily if you twist and slide them around.
The dealer would be the first place I would check.
They are attached to the underside of the hood, right in front of the windshield. They are quite easy to replace, if clogged. You'll find just a few small rubber hoses to remove that are slipped over the ends of the nozzles, supplying them with washer fluid from the pump.
Windshield washer hose is attached on one end to the windshield washer reservoir pump and the other end to the spray nozzles. It is the same as every other car built in the last 50 years. --Ken
