to make a music profile, click on the music tab in the top links.
on the top right, you'll see a link that says "artist sign up"
click that and follow the directions
note: you'll need a different email address to make a music profile. you can't use the same email address as your normal myspace profile.
to add music, go to "edit profile"
the click on the 3rd tab, "manage featured songs"
and that'll be the page that you add songs

I personally think that MySpace is great...in MySpace you can chat with friends, put music in your profile, and you can customize your profile...the only problem is that not that many people are using MySpace...Most people prefer Facebook.(Which i don't get why cus MySpace is way better and way more fun) but that's just my opinion..but you should try MySpace,maybe you'll like it. to change it 2 a 1.0 or a 2.0??????????????you have to go to customize profile and you will see swithc to 2.0 or 1.0
If you have Myspace 2.0 Under the Profile button, at top left of Myspace, click on customize profile and delete the module. You will still have an Add Comment button in your Basic Info module at the top of you profile. If you still have Myspace 1.0, you can find many codes to hide comments if you Google it.

Click on Customize Profile, then CSS. There, you paste the background code and click save. It should show up now.
One can put a Hide Music Player on the CSS box. Another option would be to go to the page that says 'customize profile.' After that, click 'modules' and then press hide.
