How do you find the name of an unknown song?

You look at the key signature! The number of sharps or flats shown in a little box at the beginning of the tune indicates the key, because you have to sharpen or flatten the "regular" notes accordingly. C has no sharps or flats. You can look up a chart of the various keys online..... Is this question for real?

Sheet music usually has a title at the top.. If not, the copyright information at the bottom will probably have the name of the song.

If you know some of the words of the song try searching with those words in you tube I found a song that way.
