I had my keyboard make buzzing sounds when ever I press a note, so what I did was flipped my keyboard upside down and unscrewed the bottom. I dusted it off a bit and left it open for about 15 minutes. Then I decided to put it back together and see if anything happened. I didn't think anything better would happen, but I tried playing a song and it started working! Try doing what I did and it might work again :D

Because It is the vibration of the strings inside the piano that produces the sound of the piano.
The sound of the piano is like these sticks with cotton tips hitting string which tighten as they get higher which is why it is a percussion instrument
The key of a piano connects to a system of levers which moves a small hammer that strikes a wire inside the piano. The wire will then vibrate and make a sound. That sound is then amplified by the wooden body of the piano, which resonates with the wire.
