I have been plastering for 20 years and the owner of my stucco company for almost 12 years and I have never been required to get any license but you should always check with your local building department to find out what they require. Stucco can look very easy to do but you should at least consult a professional before you try to do it yourself because one little missed step could end up costing thousands.
