Try learning a few each day. Put them into groups and learn them in groups. Make a list of words which are more difficult to remember and concentrate on those ones more.
"He was involved in Theory of a Deadman for a while." sorry to tell you, but no he wasnt. he signed theory of a deadman to his record label... he has written for theory of a deadman and a few other bands/artists too but in terms of other bands chad has been in nickelback since 1994 and its the only famous band that he has been a full member of. he has featured with some other bands and artists; such as Santana and My Darkest Days. Before nickelback he was in a cover/tribute band with pretty much the original members of nickelback.
One of the best sites for understanding music notation and jazz theory is Michael Furster's Jazz Class. You will find a printable copy of the keyboard as a support materials for various lessons - try http://www.jazclass.aust.com/lessons/jt/jt01.htm#dl. Other good sites for music theory and notation include Music Theory www. musictheory.net and Bob Keller's Jazz Page, all of which have printable copies of keyboards along with much, much more. A third idea is to carry out a Google search for images, using search terms like "music theory" or "keyboard".
Not able to take lessons at the moment and was wondering what some good classical or romantic era pieces would be to learn and increase my skill and technique. I'm currently around grade 8 (ABRSM) level in terms of playing skill, and have learnt quite a lot of pieces by Chopin, Grieg, Debussy, Mozart and a few of the usual annoying fidly Bach inventions and want to learn pieces by other somposers for some variety but don't know what to learn or what would be good for my level to increase my skill, everything I look at is either too easy or too hard/technical =\ had a go at some easier rachmaninov stuff and yeah, that didn't go to well lol. Hardest thing I can play so far is, in my opinon, Mozart's K333 sonata (the whole thing) to give you an idea of the kind of level I'm at. Please give actual piece names and numbers, not just the composers name.
