How do you make rap beats?

You should look into a program called FL Studio for your computer

and then you can look up some simple tutorials on YouTube on the program and dont forgot your midi board get one that looks like a piano then how you will trigger sounds

but to make descent simple beat you need the kick drum (the boom) then the snare or clap(the bip) and you need hihats

next you want add a melody to make the beat cathcy and easy for ppl to remember which can be anything from a piano ,guitar,or whatever

And last and very very very important you need to a BASSLINE
