It is extremely simple! Use a double foot stroke on the pedal of your bass drum. The rhythm is a dotted eighth note beamed to a sixteenth note in standard 4/4 time. Therefore the first bass drum note will hit one beat 1, the second on the "a" of 1, the third on beat 2...etc. Increase the tempo to increase the rate of the "Heartbeat" =)
