How do you remove hub bearing on 1996 jeep Cherokee sport 4.0L?

You would need to remove the brake caliper, brake caliper bracket and also the brake rotor.
The cotter pin and nut that holds the axle in place also needs to be removed, and then the axle needs to be tapped out of the hub with a socket.
Then you can get at the three bolts that hold the hub into place.

Assuming the pump is similar to my 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport, you first need to remove the the pulley with a special tool which you can borrow at an auto parts store. But before doing this, loosen and slide off the the belt off the pump. After removing pulley. remove bolts and pump should slide off. Did this to my jeep recently.
