This is a difficult task and takes patience. First you must disconnect the temperature control cable underneath the dash just to the right of the center console. This is done by removing a 7mm bolt using a 7mm boxend wrench. Then you must then unhook the cable downwards from its side mounting. If you look very closely at the bottom of the plastic bezel you will notice 2 small slots where you use a small slotted screwdriver to start prying the bezel off working your way upward. It is almost impossible not to scratch the dashboard under the bezel. The metal retaining clips will start falling from behind the dash, so it would be helpful if you had a magnet to retrieve them even if you don't end up re-using them.
There are two screws at the top of the bezel that need to come off (looking up at the top of the bezel with your head by the center console will help you see them.) Then there are two more (I believe under the radio (again looking at the under side of the bezel should allow you to see them). and then there are two more behind the ashtray that will be revealed when ashtray is removed. You also will need to disconnect cigarette lighter from underside of console to totally remove bezel. I hope this helps you.
You pop off the two vertical chrome plastic side bezels which will expose the four bolts required to remove the stereo. Remove four bolts, slide stereo mostly out, disconnect connector at back and remove stereo.
