It pull's off and snaps back on.
Pull the black trim that goes around the radio, it just pops out..... once you get that off, then there is a couple of screws on each side of the radio (on the bracket), remove those, and just pull the radio (with brackets attached) out, then remove the brackets from either side of the radio.
Take a thin flat screwdriver and slowly pry around the top and sides there are 4 clips that hold it down. You will find the clips on the middle of the two sides and two in the top 13 and 2/3s from the sides. There are 3 electrical connections that are clips. By removing this trim it will expose the radio and remove the clock.
Remove the trim panel around the radio, it just snaps in. Then there are 2 bolts that hold it in. They are 10mm. Once removed just pull the radio straight out. You may need to giggle it a bit as it is a close fit. Remove the 2 connectors and the antennae wire. You're done.
You first remove the trim panel that sits right above the glove compartment. Then remove the trim panel that goes over the radio. Then there should be two Philips head screws you must remove, and viola.
To remove the dash to get to the radio from a 2005 Kia Optima, begin by prying around the edge of the trim around the gear shifter. Then, remove the screws from the bottom of the dash and pry the trim away from the radio area. This will expose the radio bezel.
Remove ashtray and carefully pry off the surrounding trim. Also pry off the trim around the radio. You will see the screws that hold the radio in (4 i think). Unscrew and you are done.

It pull's off and snaps back on.

The trim on either side of the radio needs to be removed This is best done with a trim removal tool Once the trim is off you will see two bolts each side of the radio Remove these and the unit is out
There is a trim piece around the radio that also goes around the other parts of the dash. This just pops loose. After that is loose, it should be obvious how to get the radio out. Have fun!
Are you asking about the trim panel above the glove box or the trim panel in front of the radio or the trim panel around the instrument cluster? Ask again telling us which panel you wish to remove.
remove trim around radio, remove radio, remove the airvent extension, computer is mounted on the side of the instrument panel. 1 bolt, and 4 connectors
to remove your radio you need to remove the dash trim first... remove every screw you can find in the dash trim (plastic trim) most of the screws are on the bottom and near the ashtray the top snaps into place (try pulling downward on the trim after you remove all the screws). once you have this removed, there are 2 screws top and bottom of the radio, remove them and the radio will come out, the rest is easy.....
It's pretty easy. First, remove the trim around the gear shifter by gently prying it out. There are no screws - just clips. You'll have to put the tranny in "N" (assuming you have an automatic) to get it off. Next you'll remove the dash trim around the radio / AC controls / AC vents. There are 2 screws at the bottom, that are now exposed after removing the previous trim piece. Remove the screws, and then gently pry out the dash trim. Now you have get to the the radio - 4 screws, remove the antenna cable and wiring harness and you're done.
remove the screws holding on the trim, remove the ashtray(should slide out) then remove the trim peice, then unscre the mounting bracket. Then unscrew the radio from the bracket and unplug the wiring harness.
