Open the hood, there is ONE screw and a mecahnical plastic pin than has to be jiggled out. The whole unit then will come out in your hand. If you are just replacing the bulb then you have to twist the bulb socket to remove it and the bulb for its replacement.
Anyhow be careful and the whole assembly will come out. Th epalstic pin I am talking about is sort of holding one end of the assembly between the metaal chssis and the assembly.

Drop the tailgate, pull back the bed cover on the corner behind the break light you want to replace. There are bolts back there that hold the light in place. Undo those bolts and the light will come out easy. Replace and tighten bolts back and you are done. Very easy to do with some mechanical skills.
