set the tuner to the station you want to program for example 99.9 then hold the preset number you want that sation to be set as. this should work if it is a factory radio if you have an after market radio like a sony explode with a remote you set the channel then hold the number on the remote.

Don't have the manual? Then it sucks to be you LOL! Seriously, many manuals can
be found online. Do a Google search for your make and model. There are also user
groups for electronics equipment. Again, try GOOGLE. OR, you can try to find an 800 phone number for the manufacturer of your receiver. Hopefully, you won't be waiting for a customer service rep. for too long. You know how phone support can be! You might have to REALLY want to set your presets ;)
