As a previous techy for Nissan i have done this many times.
Ensure you have a radio code beforehand though, once you unplug the set, you will need to input a new one when you put it back in.
The following set of instructions is for the latest shape micra, the "bug".
1. Open both front doors
2. Remove the door seals
3. Remove the dash top by pulling upwards
4. Remove the bracket from under the dash top bolding the radio in (3x10mm bolts). make sure you don't drop these as they are quite awkward.
You don't take the radio out as a single unit, you take the radio, trip computer and vents out as one unit.
5. Remove the plasstic caps inside the little compartment at the top, and remove the two screws.
6. Remove the two screws UNDEREATH the section of trim you are going to remove, just above the heater controls.
7. Pull the radio along with everything else out as one.
8. Remove all connectors ensuring you remember where they go.
9. Put everything you have removed on a carpeted table to stop scratches, and gently remove the vents by pressing the clips back that hold them in place.
10. You can now access 4 screws that hold the radio into the frame, remove them as well as loosening as many screws as you can see that hold the together, i remember i used to loosen a certain 4.
11. With the frame loosened it is now possibe to remove the radio from the frame, otherwise its too tight.
Hope that helps,.
you have to remove the ash tray first - small screw at top, pull that out, then remove the two screws under the radio, then you can pull the radio out.
If you take your car to Nissan car dealership and request for your radio code with the right identification, your wish will be granted.
1st you would need to know if the car is a 93 convertable or sports sedan. If the sports sedan, when you say radio...do you mean the face plate on the dash that you see..this is the ICM...the radio component or the ecm is in the dash...
One does not simply take the radio out of a 1999 c230 kompressor.
You're radio is not working because the circuit board may be the problem. If you have less than 105 k miles on you're Honda accord then I would suggest that you take it in to get the circuit board replaced on you're radio.
how do you take the front panel off the radio of a 2001 town and country
get in touch with your main dealer if you dont have a radio code card. otherwise you can take it to a car audio place that decodes radios.
The headlight bulb seals in the Nissan Micra can be very tight. If you cannot loosen them, it is best to take the car to a mechanic to avoid any damage.
What year and model micra is it? They are all different. Current "bug" k12 model? Previous "bubble" k11 model? or Older "box" k10 model?

take the dash apart and its much easier to get to the motor, a bit tight to get too but better with the dash out of the way!!
Under the dash and just above the steering column to the right, you can get to it if you take the cover off the interior fuse box. Looks like this...
