I just changed mine, you have to take the screws out of the pieces below the radio so you can get to some more screws which are located on a bracket beneath the radio! The radio will slide out with the bracket attached! Not a 5 minute job!

I don't know about a 2000 vito but the new ones have a fuse on the back of the radio. You have to remove the radio to get to it.
To fix the radio on a Honda Civic it would be best to take the vehicle to a mechanic or someone with experience in fixing this type of radio if the owner does not have the experience. This will insure that the radio will get fixed correctly as it is a rather difficult task.
