you can copy but not cut the songs, then you can have them both on your mp3 player and your computer. my mp3 player can store more than 500 songs and it is quite nice look. i bought it on shoppingkool.com, really cool.

How do you download a CD onto a laptop?

it all depends on your computer, if you have windows you insert the cd into the cd port, go to windows media player. in the top right corner it will say play burn sync. press burn, it should transfer the music onto the cd. if your trying to transfer music from the cd onto the computer stick the cd into the cd port. it should have a tab where it says rip. press that button. it will transfer the music from the cd to the computer. and you can still use the cd

How do you get music off an broken MP3 player?

That really depends on the damages of the music player. If it is still recognized when you plug it into your computer, it is likely that you can recover the music. But if it is not recognized, you probably won't be able to recover it on your own.

Is there a free iPod to iPod transfer program?

if you're trying to get music from a friend, just plug your ipod into their computer and put the music on your ipod. Yamipod is a nice free iPod transfer, it can help you transfer music from iPod back to computer, then you can readd the music to a new iPod. Yamipod sucks the free verson only allows 10 songs and copytrans sucks less with 100 songs im still looking but i will find a legit one

If you wanted to transfer to a 4 year university studying music what associates degree should you get?

There are some community colleges that have a music option. Still, even if the school does not offer that option, a liberal arts degree would be fine for transfer.

Is iTunes required for ipod?

If you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, you will need iTunes in order to transfer music, videos and apps between your computer and your iPod. However, you can purchase music and apps (anything less than 10 megs) directly through the iPhone and iPod Touch (this may change with the 3.0 firmware; I'm still a little shaky on that). If you have most other models of iPod, you can use alternative media applications like Winamp, Amarok, etc. to transfer music and videos between your computer and your iPod, but you will still need iTunes to update or restore the firmware on your device.

Does a CD still play after it is ripped to your computer library?

Yes, CD's are (normally) not 'erasable' - meaning that the music is still there after you copy it.

How do you take songs out iTunes and put into your computer?

The music files (songs) used in itunes are already saved on your computer (usually in a My Music folder, then in the itunes folder). This means they are already "on your computer"; this is so they can be used in many different media players on your computer. Just open the music player that you want to use, and go to "import library"(music will still be available in itunes and in the music player you have selected). You can also burn the music files that you want onto a CD to use in your computer (i.e save them onto a CD). To do this, make a playlist of songs on itunes (by pressing the "playlist icon" on the left hand side, create a new playlist, then dragging and dropping songs from Music into the playlist). Then put a blank CD in the disk drive, click on the playlist that you have just made, and then click the "burn to CD" icon.

How do you transfer songs from one iPod to another?

if your using the same computer, and you have one itunes than you can just plug in the other ipod and sync it if still nothing in that ipod. if you have a new ipod and when oyu plug it into the computer it will show another itunes so you can just go to file then add to my library or something. then if you have your music saved on a folder then click on the song you want then open then when you have it done go to your ipod( leave it plugged, and dont touch it) on the computer and go to where it says summery than go to music click on the little boxes of the songs/albums you want then go down where you see/read the names of the songs then click the boxes then sync the ipod. hopefully it works cuz it worked with me ;)

Is window media player 11 better that window media player 9?

the difference between windows media player 11 and 9 is the album art is supplied from the internet from music on your computer so you can find out who made the music easily, (requires internet) other than the upgrade to album art windows media player 9 is not much difference to the upgraded version. I recommend windows player 11 better still
