How do you unplug radiator drain-cock in jeep Cherokee?

the line is a quick disconnect. Take a pair of pliers and GENTLY squeeze the white tabs going into the rubber part of the line. As you are squeezing, pull on the rubber piece of the line and it should come right off. Same thing for the transmission end of the line.

hey, glad my suffering can be of some use to you. i recently replaced the radiator in my 94 cherokee. i actually cut the lower line off with a sawsall where the metal meets the radiator. after this, the line was loose and i was able to see how the clip worked. All you have to do is squeeze the plastic part with a small pair of pliers and pull the hose away. actually, you can do it the same way that i did as my replacement radiator came with a new metal nipple. hope this helps

You have to push in those tabs and then pull. Cursing helps a bit, I ended up choosing to cut the lines and install 3/8 i.d. fuel hose and use hose clamps. Makes it much easier in the future if you have to remove the radiator.

Either run a wire up through it or unscrew the fitting completely to remove or remove the lower radiator hose to drain radiator
