If you are refering to a bongo as in an animal, the bongo antelope, here's your answer. I had just completed a huge research report on this topic that was about five pages long, as well as a powerpoint. So this IS accurate information.

The bongo antelope is one of the largest forest antelope. They wear an auburn coat with dirty whitish stripes running down the sides to the belly. These stripes have always reminded me of wet paint dribbling down. The stripes aid the bongo in camouflaging itself in its dark habitat. This animal has a white chevon between the eyes and another in between where the chest and neck meet. Some areas of the bongo's body is darker than others. This is because their fur darkens as they age. A bongo's horns are lyre- shaped, and strangely enough, both sexes have horns. Hope this helps!
