How has drums impacted our life?

Drums have also had a bigger impact on our lives, the military march to the beat of the drums, in times of war drums have been used to rouse your own troops and to put fear into the enemy, the Royal Navy "beat to quarters" when a drummer would play the drum to summon the sailors to action stations. Drums have been used as a means of communication by peoples all over the world.

You have to play them with a band and a crowd rocking away to understand that feeling. Being a drummer myself, I have always failed to accurately describe the feeling you get from playing them. It is that feeling that makes drums so good.

At live gigs the drums can make people go real crazy. They love good drum playing!

For the drummer himself, it is most enjoyable. After I have played a gig I can not even sleep that's how worked up and excited I feel. Its awesome!
