The term "Pitched", applied to percussion instruments, usually means that the instrument in question produces more than one pitched sound, usually enough to play a melody of some kind. Woodblocks, for instance, can be gathered into groups of five or six, and simple pentatonic melodies can be played on them, but for the most part, they are used rhythmically, rather than for playing song melodies. On the other hand, Orchestra Chimes are gathered into sets at different pitches, sufficient to make at least 2.5 or 3 octaves. Woodblocks are not considered pitched (although each one has a detectable pitch to it) and chimes are considered pitched (even though each chime has considerable extra sound to it besides just pitched components.)
The bass drum could be tuned to a pitch, but it never is. Instead, the two heads are tuned differently, and the gigantic resonant air cavity encourages no particular pitch. Its purpose is to provide a deep-throated boom when it is struck. In actual fact, there is some 'pitchiness' to the sound, but at very very low frequencies, which the ear does not perceive as pitch so much as pressure.
There is really no basis, then that the bass drum would be considered a pitched instrument. Unpitched is the only other choice.
Some type of drum.
A percussion instrument with no pitch is (obviously) a percussion instrument, but with no recognisable note in any scale, producing a beat rather than a note. Examples of these instruments are snare drum, bass drum, tomtom drum etc.
A marimba is not a drum; it is a percussion instrument that consists of wooden bars struck with mallets to produce musical notes. Timpani and bass drums, on the other hand, are both classified as drums. The timpani produces pitched sounds and is often used in orchestras, while the bass drum is unpitched and provides a deep, resonant sound.
A drum set typically includes several unpitched instruments such as the snare drum, bass drum, and tom-toms. These drums produce sound through the striking of heads and do not have a definite pitch. Additionally, percussion instruments like cymbals (including hi-hat, crash, and ride cymbals) are also part of the drum set and contribute to the overall sound without producing specific pitches.
A bass drum hoop is the outer rim of the bass drum that sandwiches the bass drum head to the actual shell of the bass drum.

umm im not totally sure but drum
Bass drum. The bass drum in a trap set is also called the kick drum.
The udu drum is not actually a drum. It is an instrument known as an idiophone. The class of idiophones contains most of the pitched percussion instruments.
You use the ... bass drum while playing the bass drum ... (?)
Oh, dude, you want some musical knowledge? Sure, let me lay it down for you. Pitched instruments include stuff like piano, guitar, violin, flute, and drums can be both pitched and unpitched, so they're like the cool kids who can hang with anyone. Unpitched instruments are like the rebels of the music world - think cymbals, tambourine, triangle, and cowbell. So yeah, music is a whole party with both the cool kids and the rebels jamming together.
the bass drum produces the lowest pitch
The bass drum is a member of the percussion family.
