To be honest, unless you have very sensitive hearing or a condition that affects the ears, id say the effect that an acoustic guitar would have on your hearing would be negligible. an acoustic, when played as loud as possible isn't even as loud as a Saxophone even less so than drums. usually sound issues come from amplification. which means being plugged into an amp. then you may want to consider ear protection. otherwise, you're going to be fine. :)
Yes, you can plug an electric guitar into an acoustic amplifier. But I would suggest that you don't play at a high volume for a long period of time of the difference in impedence - an acoustic guitar (and bass and vocals) is low impedence, where an electric guitar (& keyboard) is high impedence.
No, I just tried it, and the really long part sticks out.
hmm... well without looking at the guitar a 15 to 19 will do the trick, match the rest of the gauge, it may be a 12-52 so a 19 roughly depending on brand... or if its regular light strings its a 17, as long as its over a 15.
Hey, An acoustic guitar can have 4 strings (bass) or 6 strings (normal acoustic) or 12 strings ... a 6 string guitar has a tuning of E,A,D,G,B,E, and a 12 string guitar has a tuning of E,E,A,A,D,D,G,G,B,B,E,E ... In additon to this there are many other tunings such as dadgag and drop d etc. as long as there is a guitar in a particular song, you can preety much play it on your guitar. but most electrics have like 22 or 24 frets and many guitar solos are played on the 2nd octave (i.e. 12th to 24th fret) and acoustic guitars usually dont have 22 frets..so as long as you're tuned right and have sufficent frets , its possible to play any song..
Generally, used acoustic guitars can be found for cheaper than new guitars. A used guitar in good quality will likely continue to be in good quality for quite a long time: with many newer guitars, there is no guarantee that they will not crack or warp over time.
A standard acoustic guitar is typically around 40 to 42 inches long.
A full-size acoustic guitar is typically around 40 to 42 inches long.
about 27 inches or so..... i think
A standard acoustic guitar is typically around 40 to 42 inches long, while an electric guitar is usually around 39 inches long.

my favorite is Hey Ya by Obadiah Parker, and its on itunes! its the best song ever!
A full-size acoustic guitar is typically around 40-42 inches long and about 15-17 inches wide at its widest point.

The standard size of a guitar is typically around 40-42 inches in length. A normal guitar is about the size of a standard acoustic guitar, which is around 40 inches long.
Technically, yes—you can put electric guitar strings on an acoustic guitar, but it's not recommended for long-term use. Electric strings are made from materials like nickel or steel and are designed for magnetic pickups, while acoustic guitar strings are typically bronze or phosphor bronze, built to produce rich, resonant tones acoustically. Using electric strings on an acoustic guitar may result in: Lower volume and duller tone, since electric strings don’t vibrate the soundboard as effectively. Possible buzzing or tuning issues, due to the difference in tension and thickness. Reduced playability, especially if the guitar's nut and bridge aren't adjusted for the thinner strings. At Smiger Guitar, we recommend choosing the right type of string for your instrument to ensure optimal sound and performance. For acoustic players, sticking with high-quality acoustic strings will always bring out the best in your guitar.
