Michael Jackson did not invent the moonwalk he took it from Bill Bailey, he started doing the moonwalk on the song Billie Jean in 1982.

Michael didn't make the moonwalk. He learned it from kids on the street, perfected it and renamed it the Moonwalk. It was originally called the backslide.
