The last Grateful Dead shows took place on July 3, 4, and 5, 2015, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, respectively. Each concert typically lasted around three to four hours, featuring a mix of classic songs and extended jams. The final show on July 5, 2015, was particularly significant as it marked the band's last performance, concluding their extensive legacy.

As of my last update, the rock band that has performed the most shows is the Grateful Dead, known for their extensive touring and live performances. Their unique approach to concerts, including long, improvisational sets, helped them build a dedicated fan base and a reputation for prolific touring. After their disbandment in 1995, various offshoots, like Dead & Company, continue to perform, maintaining the band's legacy of live shows.
