How long would it take to learn Saxophone?

this can vary based on a wide variety of events, if you are in a school band, or have a private teacher, were playing is instructed and professional, you will learn faster... there is no set level of experience required to officially be considered, as having learned to play, my philosophy is, the second you play your first song you play Saxophone, don't let this go to your head though, just because you "play" doesn't mean your any good... I've been playing for 5 years.. and as far as i have gone, (believe me, you have no idea) theres always that window in front of you that you can get better to pass through even the best players of all time could be infinitely better... there is no limit, and so there is no set time

Well about a year with lessons to learn all the basics you need to go onto becoming an intermediate to an advanced player.

It will usually take about 3-4 months to start playing the cello succesfully without music and about 4-6 months to learn how to play notes better and how to read music.

I play and it doesnt take to long to learn it but it will take a while to be really good

Not very long for the basics. It took me about a week to learn them. It took about a year to get very good.
