In 4/4 time there are eight 1/8 notes per measue (two per beat). Divide four by eight and one finds that there are 0.5 or 1/2 beats per 1/8 note. Hope this helps.
It's 1\2 of a beat. So basically half of a quarter note. A technique you can use is taking a small sniff. That will be at least half of a quarter note.
An eighth note, in common time (which is what most pieces are written in) gets a half a beat. This can be subdivided into 2 sixteenth notes, 4 thirty-second notes, 8 sixty-fouth notes... and so on.
you can put as many notes as you like in a 8th note. 2 8th notes=1 quarter note so, 4 8th notes=two quarter notes
half a beat
An eighth note is one HALF of ONE BEAT ( or quarter note)
6|8 time means there are six beats in a measure, and the eighth note gets the count. So, there are six eighth note beats per measure in 6|8 time.

another eighth note because: a quarter + a half=3 beats + eighth = 3 1/2 beats so add another eighth and u get 4 beats.
It gets half of a beat. Two eighth notes equal one quarter note.
An eighth note is one HALF of ONE BEAT ( or quarter note)
1) its actually, how many BEATS in and 8th and whole note. 2) there are 4 beats in a whole note 3) there is 1/2 a beat in an eighth note

An eighth note takes up 1/8th of a measure. The length of the measure is determined by the length of the time signature. For instance, in common (or 4/4 time) there are 4 beats in a measure. A whole note takes 4 beats, a half note takes 2, a quarter note takes 1 beat and an eighth note gets 1/2 a beat.
That is an eighth note

An eighth note, a quarter note, and a half note.
Depends on the time signature. In 4/4 a whole note is 4 beats and there would be 8 eighth notes.
Strangely enough, an eighth note is one eighth of a whole note.
