What do the black keys do on a piano?

imagine a piano without black keys. black keys play the note in between the white keys creating have steps. without the black keys, you wont know where a certain note on the piano, because the black keys create a pattern so you know where notes are.

Which instrument has keys?

A piano has strings, pedals and keys. The keys are the black and white rectangles at the front of the piano. The pedals are found where the player's feet rest when sat on a stool. They are at the bottom of the piano, and usually in the middle of the piano. There are usually three pedals. The strings are hidden by the top of the piano, but as each key is hit, it connects with the string to make the note. It could also possibly be the harp. The traditional harp (lever harp) has about 30-35 strings. When needing to add flats or sharps to the key signature you flip a little lever that goes with that note. But it can only have three flats and two sharps so they came out with the pedal harp. Which has about 45-50 strings and has a pedal for each note(A, B, C, D, E, F, G). If you push the pedal, it will either make it sharp, flat, or natural.

What is the difference between an electric keyboard and an electric piano?

There are several differences. Electronic keyboards can create a variety of sounds and effects, while the piano makes many possible variations to the same set of sounds, as generated by the keys and pedals. Pianos (acoustic) make sounds using strings (the keys trigger the strings). Because of this, pianos are 'touch sensitive' - you can change the sound depending on how you press the keys. Also, pianos have a LOT MORE keys than on keyboards - most piano pieces cannot by played on keyboards as there are not enough keys. Keyboard music tends to be a lot simpler and easier than piano music. It often has simple chords in the bass and a melody in the treble rather than more complex harmonies on the piano. Because keyboards are electronic they also have different 'sounds' - they can play the sound of many other instruments, not just piano. As a general rule, if you can play the piano you can play the keyboard, but if you can play the keyboard it doesn't mean you can also play the piano!

There are seven F naturals. If you add the F sharps there's 14. If you add the F flats there's 21. Interesting question.

Because if humans had 11 fingers, they would have to add some notes to the 88 keys now on the piano.

How do yu use the piano in fl studio?

If you mean use the "Piano Roll" instead of the sequencer, simply right-click the track or instrument and select "Piano Roll". If you mean how to use a piano, add or replace a track with any module (generator) that has a piano preset, specifically FL Keys, which is a piano specific module.

How do you add piano in fl studio?

In FL Studio 8, you can either add the Sytrus synthesizer module and select one of the piano presets or make one of your own or you can use the FL Keys module, which has quite a few piano specific settings. Alternatively, you can load in as many piano sample tracks as you wish if you have any high quality samples. There are a lot of free modules (generators) and VST/i plugins you can find online that will work with FL Studio and have some nice piano presets. EDIT: This applies to all versions of FL Studio, the Sytrus module was first introduced in version 8 and has been included in newer FL since.
