From what I heard, when you first get your driver's license, you can have one family member sit in the car with you but this excludes cousins. I don't really remember how long you have to have your driver's license before you can start driving minors around but it is usually 6 months to a year. I am certain that after 1 year, you can drive around as many people as your car allows. I hope this help.
be sure that you yourself are able to drive legally and to answer the rest of your question, it depends on how long you've had your license.
If you have had your license for six months then you can have as many people as you have seatbelts
If you are driving the car, then you are officially liable for driving without proof of insurance, but most police will be understanding if you are driving a company car that you didn't know was insured.
I think so it wasn't on TMZ or anything, but All I can say is no he didn't get into an car crash.
you will have to sue them because it is your car not there's
The car he is driving is a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. Grace is driving a Porsche 356 Speedster. Two very cool cars!
Mazda Miata.
This can vary from state to state. In Maryland for example, a minor with a learner's permit is not allowed to drive with other minors in the car.
If the minor is under the age of 16, you can be arrested for this. If the minor is under the influence of alcohol, you can get charged with a supplying to minors ticket eventhough you are not 21. This really depends on the state, but if you are under the influence of marijuana and you have a minor with you-it doesn't make a difference.
The mother is liable
no. minors have little to no rights in this country! it's gotta be registered to someone 18 or over.
when u have a minor in the car it can cause serious damage and if the minor is in the front seat and gets hit by the airbag the minor could die.
The insurance company is not liable for paying damages. The minor was knowingly breaking the law by driving w/o a license. The parent of the child will be held liable for damages. As will the person/owner of the vehicle if they knew the minor was not a legally licensed driver. If you let an un liscensed/uninsured minor driver your vehicle, your asking for it. If you werent the parent of the minor, they could sue you as well for neglect.
No/Yes An Adult that is just having a normal conversation with a minor is not contributing to that minors delinquency....An adult that is having a conversation with a minor in order to assist and/or convince said minor commit an illegal act can be considered contributing to that minors delinquency.. Such as giving that minor information/instruction on how to make a pipe bomb or how to shoplift,or how to steal a car ect ect..
No. Minors are not able to enter into legal contracts.
The general rule...In general, a minor cannot enter into a contract. They are also not allowed to own property. The parents of the minor will technically own the property. If a parent will agree to Co-Signer the auto loan, then the minor can buy the car. However, the parent who co-signed the car will be the legal owner.
Yes, if there is consent by the minor, probable cause, a warrant, an arrest, or other authorization to search them
In legal cases if a person is below 18 he still considered a minor and it states that all minors who enters a contract it will be void.
Yes. However, the minor is subject to the actions of the ward(s) to which the minor is assigned unless emancipated. ( the adult ward can sell the car, or transfer title prior to the minors 18th birthdate without the approval nor signature of the minor ). A better way to transfer the vehicle to a minor would be to title it to an irrevocable trust assigning the minor as benefactor upon reaching the age of majority ( 18).
