Beethoven actually wrote 38 piano sonatas, although 6 of them are without Opus numbers (WoO). True but no.33, 34 and 35 had ' to the Archbishop elector of Cologne Maxim. Frederick' and no. 36 had 'to Eleonore von Breuning' written next to them in brackets in my book.
Yes, he wrote 5 piano concertos, but he also wrote a triple concerto for violin, cello and piano and a rather strange concerto-like piece for piano, orchestra and full choir.

Beethoven wrote 38 to be exact! Though the last 6 didn't have opus. Have a look at 'How many piano sonatas did Beethoven wrote'. There are some extra details about this question.
Only 1, but that sonata is really long and difficult.
Beethoven scored for the entire symphony orchestra. However, many of his compositions were also for string quartets, string trios, wind quintets, wind octets, and so on. If the voice can be considered an instrument, not many people area aware that Beethoven wrote well over a hundred liedeer, or songs. Beethoven was the first composer to score the human voice as an instrument within the symphony (9th Symphony). In addition, Beethoven was well known for his piano compositions, in particular the piano concertos and the piano sonatas.
Beethoven composed 32 piano sonatas, 5 piano concertos, completed 9 symphonies, one opera, and he was known for many other orchestral works. These included chamber music and overtures such as The Creatures of Prometheus, Coriolan Overture, Egmont, King Stephen and Zur Namensfeier.

For the purposes of this question, the answer will refer to just Beethoven's songs, not his instrumental compositions as well.Beethoven wrote around 80 songs, actually known as "lieder", with piano. These were sensitive pieces, highlighting his truly emotional side. In many ways, some of these songs are seen as almost autobiographical, telling of similar events in Beethoven's own life.He was also known for writing around the same number of Volkslieder, or folk songs.
Mozart wrote 18 complete keyboard sonatas for the "piano" of his time (which was not, strictly speaking, the modern pianoforte). There is also a traditional "19th" sonata which consist of two separate works usually performed as a complete sonata. You can find all 19 of them, chronologically, in both MIDI and MP3 form at: http://www.sdrodrian.com/mozart/sonatas/
9 symphonies. 32 piano sonatas. Someone add the other stuff he wrote. Definitely more than "10 things."
