Mozart lived 1765-1791, and was composing literally all that time. He probably started when he was 2 or 3 and composed until his death (33 years approximately all together).
Nobody knows exactly how many minutes Mozart wrote. This is because he was writing his entire life and some of his works were lost.
Mozart composed over six hundred works.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Yes, he did. It's been said that Beethoven has written about 300 to 400 pieces in his lifetime, whereas Mozart (Wolfgang Amadeus, not his father Leopold) composed over 1000.
Mozart's most important achievement in his early years would be surviving birth. This is not a joke or a poor attempt an an answer. Of the seven children birthed by his mother, only Wolfgang Amadeus and one sister survived. At a very early age, 4 or 5, Mozart could read and write music, and was very gifted on the piano and violin. Mozart composed two rather short songs when he was five years old. He wrote and played his "Andante" and "Allegro in C" for his father.Mozart composed 13 symphonies between the ages of 8 and 15.Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was definitely a child prodigy.
Of course there is no right answer for this, but in my opinion I would give 2 composers: Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Mozart. Both are well-known and well-documented, and both have had major motion pictures made about their fascinating lives: Immortal Beloved for Beethoven, Amadeus for Mozart.
A lot of Mozart's influences were from the famous composers of his time. Johann Christian Bach, Johann Schobert, Franz Joseph Haydn and many others would have been major influences on Mozart's compositional style. As Mozart grew older, he explored more the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Friedrich Handel.
his father influenced him to write and compose music. :)
He wrote in the universal language ... music.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart never stopped composing. On the day of his death, he was starting to write another piece of music.

Of the HUNDREDS of awnswers that could be said, I personally think it is that one, he started composing before some children can write their own name! Also, in his lifetime, he composed thousands of songs! I play in orchestras so he is one of my favorites!
Around that age, the Mozart family did a lot of travelling around Europe. Wolfgang's father, Leopold Mozart, bought a small clavier to take with them so that they (Wolfgang and his sister, Maria Anna) could practice. When not on the move, Maria Anna, or Nannerl, would write small pieces of music and practice, but Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart would play with the local children, or go sightseeing.
