To be honest with you, that question really does not make any sense. I will say that in the Flute's bars that are attached to the keys, there is quite a lot of machinery, as so I have heard. All I can say is that it is a possibility, yet if there is a string, it will be inside the bar to work all that machinery.

In an orchestra, flute players typically sit in the woodwind section, which is usually located to the right of the conductor when facing the stage. They are often positioned near the front of this section, close to the strings, to allow for better blend and balance of sound. The principal flute, who leads the section, usually sits at the front of the flute players.
I hear English horn, bassoon, flute, clarinet, and strings. The first answer given was "Oboe and bass for the first four bars, then oboe with clarinet and strings, then flute with oboe, bass and strings." I think it is possible, even highly likely, that it is not an oboe but an English Horn. The tone quality sounds much more deeply resonant than would be expected for an oboe, especially in the lower register.
