No, he isn't. You always hear that Gerard Way and his band My Chemical Romance are a 'suicide cult' and are 'pro-suicide' among other rude things which are simply ridiculous. Tell me, then, if this band are so 'pro-suicide' why would they say at their concerts and in interviews, such things as: "Be proud, stay alive." Or "NOTHING is worth taking your own life over." This man has SAVED so many people's lives with his music, and I hope his band makes music for a very, very long time to come.
Gerard Way has 1 child
many young girls would say Joe jonas, hands down. but i say Gerard Way, of course. x3

NO. YesHe did, I am not sure what kind but he stated that he not only drank but did drugs with his brother gerard! Then he started to see his friends drop like flies, that was one of the reasons why he stoped!

It is known that Poe attempted suicide at least once, with laudanum. For any other attempts, more research will be conducted.
Amanda reportedly attempted suicide by drinking bleach but was able to get medical treatment and live through that. She later overdosed after turning to drugs and alcohol in an attempt to manage her life. It is unclear if this was a deliberate act,or an accidental overdose. She completed the suicide in Oct. of 2012. She may very well have attempted suicide at other times, but the information was not made public by her.
well statistics for this or last year will be hard to find, however past statistcs can be found for 2004. 714 female teenagers committed suicide, usually twice that number will attempt suicide. if you believe someone you know will commit or attempt suicide you should seek help for them immediately. 911 will always answer calls about a possible suicide in progress, and while you can leave your name anonymously there is less we can do as EMTs because usually we cannot determine if the call was real.
5 times
No, it is not normal to try to kill yourself even once. Many people think about suicide. Many people even prepare themselves for it in some way. But most people do not actually attempt suicide and certainly do not try multiple times. Five unsuccessful suicide attempts indicates a really huge need for mental health care. It also indicates that the person who has attempted suicide does not really want to follow through with it. Get help. There is still a little time.
One confirmed attempt in the early hours of June 5th this year.
Exactly 42 times.
Twice, once on purpose [you could call it a suicide attempt, but Em claims he wasn't trying to kill himself, he was just depressed] in 1996, and he accidentally ODed on methadone in 2007.
No, it is not against the law however it does go against many Church beliefs. I don't know about what this person is saying because if you attempt suicide and fail police can take you into custedy and put you in the hospital were they can put a hold on you and you lose your freedom.
People who attempt suicide or threaten suicide must be treated by professionals. Many times, their loved ones try to "handle things" themselves, and this almost always ends badly. Suicidal people must be taught how to change their unhealthy thinking patterns, and they often need medication. If someone threatens to harm themselves, or if they attempt to harm themselves, you need to either call for an ambulance or help them get to the hospital. Do not try to take care of them yourself beyond bandaging anything that is bleeding.
