In 2007, the rapper was first found with the automatic weapon in his vehicle and since then has had the pressure of dealing with it to the authorities. In May 2011, Ja Rule finally handed himself in as the culprit and after a full process of trials, he had been sentenced to serve two years in state penitentiary prison for the charges. A set date has not yet been released for the rapper. People are speculating and waiting eagerly for the date but untill then, Ja can only hope for the best and get out early for good behavior. No probation, no parole, no concurrent sentence- and a fine of up to $10,000. Make that an unregistered sawed off shotgun, or an unregistered machine gun, 10 years in a Federal prison.
Absolutely not, the punishment will be 10 years in federal prison for the inmate and the person owning the house/gun.
